Description
A cardigan that does the work of a jacket. Kinross knits this one in a tweed of 90% wool and 10% cashmere — substantial in the hand, warm without weight, with a generous drape that keeps its line from an October morning in Newport to a January evening in Palm Beach.
The details carry it: a stand-up mock neck, a double-ended zip you can open from the hem when you sit, twin patch pockets, and contrast trim tracing the collar, placket, pockets and cuffs. Zip it over a silk tee or leave it open over a fine-gauge knit; the armhole and sleeve are cut to layer over a standard sweater without bulk.
