Description
Pattern doing the work. Kinross weaves a classic houndstooth into a substantial wool cloth, then cuts it boxy: wide and straight from the shoulder, hanging clean away from the waist rather than tapering. A mock neck and a simple button front keep the front line uninterrupted.
It stops at the waist, which makes it the easy one to reach for over a high-rise trouser or a long skirt, and the armhole is cut to clear a sweater underneath. Warm without weight, and the kind of piece that looks considered with nothing more than denim.
